adCenter Implements Ad Preview Tool…Finally
Microsoft adCenter has added a nice little feature to its web UI, the Ad Preview Tool. It has been available on Google AdWords for a while but it’s nice to have it in adCenter now as well. The tool allows you to check exactly where your ads appear for various keywords and how they look in Bing without adding any impressions to your campaigns.

If you are someone who likes to check your ads regularly, these searches on Bing can increase impressions a lot and, due to the fact that Bing doesn’t have too much traffic, lower the CTRs. This would have a negative impact on the quality score and could drive up costs. Also, search engines can stop showing certain ads after a while if you don’t click on them, showing new ads in hope of improving relevance and getting clicks. Therefore, your ads may not appear if you do regular ‘mock’ searches to check your various ads. With the Ad Preview Tool, you can do repeated checks right in the adCeneter user interface and not worry about affecting any stats. To find this tool, look in the top right corner of your campaigns home page.
