Twitter @anywhere on Google Follow Finder
Twitter announced the release of the @anywhere framework, a service that enables the integration of Twitter functionalities in websites.
@Anywhere integrations range from simple Follow buttons and auto-linkification of @usernames (by clicking on the screen name you go directly to the Twitter profile page), to hovercards (hovering the cursor on the Twitter screen name makes a small tooltip box pop up, showing the profile picture and a Follow button) and more interactive features:
Connect with Twitter lets users authenticate on Twitter from a pop-up on your website;
the Tweet Box allows tweeting directly from the application on your website: Tweets customised with pre-populated specific text (like @mentions and #hashtags) could make @anywhere a great way to generate buzz.

Google Follow Finder
Google released its first @anywhere integration on Google Labs: Enter a Twitter username on Follow Finder to get a list of tweeps you may want to follow.

Following and follower lists belonging to the username you entered are analysed, and a list of suggested tweeps is generated. Clicking on the Follow button opens the Connect with Twitter pop-up box, but currently the application returns an error message.
